Khmer New Year Is Coming...

Khmer New Year 5-day holiday will be from the day after tomorrow, yet I have no plan to go anywhere or anything to do in particular. Visiting temple during Khmer New Year is not what I usually do, though I did visit some temples last year with my girlfriend. Apparently, there will be nothing special to do beside watching DVDs and solving some Sudoku puzzles at home. Don’t even have a book I want to read. Don’t even feel that New Year is coming...

Sudoku a kind of puzzle I first heard of when a former Japanese colleague bought me a Wordoku, the word version of Sudoku, from New York. Wordoku is rather complicated to me that made me give it up when I made my first try. Yesterday, while I was browsing in a book store to kill the time, I was a little bit surprised to learn that Sudoku puzzle books were available there. So I decided to make another challenge. I picked up the beginner one, and yeah it was much easier. I got absorbed in and solved it until 1 am last night. I got more than 10 pieces solved last night!!! Not so bad.

A suprised call....

I just got sorta suprised call from a friend in Japan. I have not seen him for ages and I am gonna pick him up this evening from his house. Dun no where to go yet, though....
